(As far as the length of the piece of tulle, I totally eyeballed it. You will then start to pull your piece of tulle through the hole in the middle. Gather the two pieces of string toward the bottom, being careful not to pull too hard. You will then place the other identical circle on top of the bottom one, with the string in between. Lay one circle flat, with a piece of string laying over it. I cut each piece of string the same length and trimmed them later when I decided on the final length. Next, precut the string you will use for the pom poms. You will need two identical sized circles for each pom pom size you are doing.Ĭut a smaller circle in the middle of each one. Trace (or freehand) your size reference onto your scrap cardboard. I did mine all the same and I used a lid from my kitchen as a size template. You can vary the sizes or do them all the same.
